Has It Been A Week?
Sep. 11th, 2009 02:24 pmI'm not keeping up with this thing as planned.
So, the first Buffy game went off without too many hitches. The plot was largely cribbed from one I found over on RPGnet, but a different cast of characters guaranteed some different directions. Cinematic Unisystem is as easy to run as Ubiquity, and about as diceless for the GM (in fact, I used no dice all night, which was good, as I'd accidentally left them in the car).
Mostly, a Buffy-style game should be about the character interaction and clever dialog, and we got that in spades. Even if "Offer to show her your Brown Jenkin" was a bit censor-worthy.
I left things on a cliff hanger, so I guess I'd better figure out what I'm going to do come Tuesday night.
