Oh Look, [Insert Bright Shiny Thing Here]

theronTomorrow is the first playtest of the thing I've been writing. It won't be a complete run through the adventure, as much of that is still stuck in my head. Nonetheless, it'll be a chance to hang with my gamers, test out a game system that won't be on the streets for another few months, maybe get some pizza afterward, and generally have a grand old time for a few hours.
Of course, as seems to be par for the course when I've got something I MUST complete on the front burner, everything in the periphery becomes ridiculously interesting. Considering that two of these peripheral things are the new Jim Butcher novel and the Dresden Files RPG, I'm burning a lot of willpower just to stay on task.
What I hope will happen tomorrow is that the playtest will kick me over the hump, so to speak, and get me rolling in the right direction to get this sucker finished and submitted on time.
