Today, on RPGnet, I stumbled over a topic looking for "Space Opery" maps.  While I presume it was a typo, my brain immediately launched into visions of the "Grand Ole Space Opry," Luke and Bo Duke in Space, and generally a completely stupid and over the top "Redneck Traveller" game idea.

In space, nobody can hear your Rebel Yell...
